Job Description

Job Title: Programmer

Description:

To produce quality software and systems - undertaking a defined role, decided
on a project by project basis by the line Manager in collaboration with the
relevant department Specialist - IT. The role may be a combination of
activities involving: software design and development, database design,
business and process analysis.

The role would move from software development through the activities listed
above towards analysis and design and will be given a terms of reference sheet
relating to the specific requirements for the role and project identified by
the Project Manager/User

Principal Accountabilities:
*
Translate the process and enhancement specifications into programs and write
or generate error-free code within agreed time-scales, using the development
tools, methods and languages specified by the Project Manager. Reference and
document the software for ease of quality assurance, testing, operation and
support.
* Investigate reported faults in operational code and proceed with changes to the code and promotion for replacement, following the department procedures of change management.
* Prepare test conditions for unit testing and test the code developed. Assist in the test, training and implementation phases of projects. Reference and document the software for ease of quality assurance, testing, operation and support.
* Ensure that ‎100% of software is peer reviewed and unit tested and help ensure that all functional and non-functional requirements are met.
* Assist in translating the functional requirements into a specification of functional processes, program modules and data definitions. Work with the database administrators to design and build file structures to support the functional processes. Reference and document the specifications and design for code development, testing and support.
* Plan and assist with the testing of modules and in the creation of databases for test and training.
* Prepare and document business objectives, functional requirements, data models and technical architectures to meet an identified business need. .
* Assist the Project manager or other department heads in establishing test and acceptance plans, as well as the final production database.
* Participate actively within the project team, seeking training and developing skills and competencies to meet the needs of the anticipated work program.
* Accurately report on time spent against plan and progress achieved within the project control system being used on a weekly basis.
* Contribute towards improving the performance of the department, following and improving relevant departmental standards and undertake additional specialist roles and activities when required. Ensure that an effective and focussed work rate is maintained by self.

Oracle EBS R12- Apps Technical [Must]
*
Oracle EBS R12, RICE Components, Workflow, XML Publisher Reports, PL/SQL,
Interface, AME, Oracle Forms and Reports.
* Knowledge in Data Conversions, Data Migrations, API, Interfaces in EBS R12
* XML Publisher, D2K Forms, D2K Reports, Form Personalization, Extensions
* Good Understanding for JSON / RESTful Web Services

Oracle EBS R12- OAF [Must]

Custom OAF page Development, Application Development using OAF

Oracle EBS R12- Functional [Must]

Basic Knowledge as a technical apps developer about Oracle EBS R12,P2P and O2C
cycles, Integration with other application.

Oracle APEX Low Code

Intermediate knowledge about Oracle APEX web development.

Requirements
Minimum Requirement:**
*
Degree in Engineering, Science, Computing or other numerate faculty from a
recognised institute.
* Education in various programming languages, data modelling, database design, developing tools is vital.
* Minimum experience of ‎3 years is expected in IT (software development environment)
