This role will be based in Dubai and responsible for performing professional
accounting support covering Middle East region.
Location: Dubai, UAE (on-site)
Job Responsibilities:
* Support accounting activities in the region
* Support to the finance manager on daily tasks which implies ability to act as back up
* Support to the coordination of and assistance in the closing process
* Create, analyse and advise on allocation keys in the different SAP modules
* Support to internal and external audits
* Support in accounts booking, reporting, accounts payables, accounts reconciliations, internal reporting, audit, tax...etc..
* Ensure, together with internal and external partners, a qualitative and correct reconciliation of accounts
* Execute accounting process controls on a regular basis
* Cooperate closely with service teams, stakeholders, management, audit teams, finance partners, middle office
* Engage with relevant stakeholders to gather information to ensure meaningful reconciliation of GL accounts.
* Follow IFRS/IAS and company policies in the accounting process
Job Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting of Finance
* Minimum 5 years previous accounting experience
* Arabic language is a must
* English language proficiency, written and verbal
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and SAP modules
* Able to work both autonomously and as part of a team
* Flexible and structured work approach based on the job requirements.
* VAT and Quickbook experience is an advantage
