QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES:
* Bachelor's / Master's degree in Accountancy / Commerce
* CPA or CMA preferred
* Proven working experience in Manufacturing industry
* Thorough knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures.
* Excellent accounting software user, preferable ERP Microsoft Dynamics AX/ 365/ Navision
* Familiar with reporting software (Hyperion / DIVA system)
* Comply with the Generally Accepted Audit Principles.
* Strong attention to detail and confidentiality.
* Perform complex and analytical problem solving
* Maintain the working relationship with different departments in the company.

* Salary starts at 4,500 AED (negotiable)

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
* 1-3 years of experience is required (preferably in the manufacturing industry). Kindly note that this is a Junior Accountant role.
DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITIES
* Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
* Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
* Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
* Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
* Assist with reviewing of expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
* Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
* Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
* Assist senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings
* Assist with other accounting projects
* Budget preparation for consolidation
* Perform other duties as assigned
