Marketing Assistant

Al Rostamani Trading Company is the sole authorized distributor of Suzuki and
Citroen across the UAE with Sales, Service and Parts outlets able to serve its
customers throughout the country.

Job Purpose

The purpose is to assist Marketing Department 's daily operation. This
position is the main link between the Marketing department and Vendors /
internal departments to ensure the smooth running of their marketing
activities and to some extent, daily operations of the Sales Department. The
main responsibilities include, record keeping, supplier's and branch
coordination, procurement and report generation.

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with Marketing Officer and assist in the daily operation of the department.


• Maintain a well-organized record of all marketing activities, permissions, licenses, expenses incurred by the department;


• Procure / Maintain / Manage / Monitor and effective distribution of all, but not limited to marketing materials inventory (i.e. promotional gift items, flags, plate frames, key chains, sunshades, uniforms, furniture's, business cards");


• Effective and accurate market research (i.e. competitor's ads and prices) submitted to Marketing Officer and internal department.


• Collection and submission of all documents related to Sales Rebates and ensuring all documents meets the requirement of the department and principals


• Maintain vendor and internal department relationships.


• Support in organising and managing exhibitions, events, customer gathering and in-house activities;


• Monitor and collaborate with the Sales team; to accurately measure the effectiveness of marketing activities


• Any other task assigned by line manger within the scope of job.

Job Requirements

Qualifications
* Higher Secondary or above. Marketing specialization would be added advantage.
Experience
* ‎2 years of any marketing, research, PR experience, preferably within the automotive industry
Knowledge & Skills
* Excellent communications skills
* Strong command over MS Office,
* Account Management
