With stunning resorts located across the globe and exciting expansion planned,
Kerzner International currently has a fantastic opportunity for a Barista
to join at the One &Only The Palm Hotel in Dubai.
With the global growth of our brands, you will be an integral part of the
Resort's success and your role will be to provide and prepare various coffee
blends, tea and general hot beverage orders.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
 Sell coffee, coffee grinding and brewing equipments by explaining the
differences in coffee beans and coffee preparation machines; demonstrating how
brewing equipment operates.
 Prepares coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation
techniques for coffee drinks, such as, espresso, caffe latte, and cappuccino.
 Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee
brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies for coffee bar.
 Keep equipments functional by following operating instructions;
troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive
maintenance and calling for repairs.
 Maintain a safe and healthy work environment and adhere to organization
standards and sanitation regulations.
 Improve the quality results by studying, evaluating, and redesigning
processes; implementing changes; maintaining and improving the appearance of
the restaurant and coffee bar.
 Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and
presentation techniques to improve food quality.

Experience and Qualifications:
 Proficiency in the English language.
 Must be well presented and professionally groomed at all times.
 Good customer service skills; good problem resolution skills.
 Adequate F&B product knowledge.
 Team player with strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
 Minimum ‎2-years' experience in fast paced coffee driven concept ( Coffee
shop, Lobby Lounge)

Suitable candidate will be reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager.
