The Portfolio Project Manager is responsible for developing and executing
strategic initiatives to drive business growth and achieve organizational
goals. This includes identifying opportunities for growth, conducting market
research, developing strategic plans, and overseeing the implementation of
initiatives across different departments or teams. The role requires strong
leadership in matrix oragnization, analytical, and project management skills,
as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure
successful implementation of business strategies and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to drive business growth and
achieve organizational objectives.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities and
market trends.
Collaborate with senior leadership and other stakeholders to develop strategic
plans aligned with overall business goals.
Create detailed project plans, set targets, and establish timelines to ensure
successful implementation of initiatives.
Monitor progress, track performance metrics, and provide regular reports on
the status of initiatives to senior leadership and stakeholders.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of
strategic initiatives, including providing direction, guidance, and support as
needed.
Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented initiatives and recommend
adjustments as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to
identify new opportunities or potential risks.
Provide leadership and guidance to team members, including setting performance
expectations, providing feedback, and mentoring as needed.
Collaborate with other departments or teams to align strategies and
initiatives across the organization.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, management, or related field. Master's degree
is a plus.
Proven experience in business strategy development and implementation,
including conducting market research, analyzing data, and creating strategic
plans.
Strong project management skills with the ability to create detailed project
plans, set targets, and manage timelines.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify opportunities,
assess risks, and make data-driven decisions.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate,
influence, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to
create clear and concise reports and presentations.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage
multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in using business tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, project
management software, and data analysis tools.
Experience in change management, process improvement, or organizational
development is a plus.
Ability to adapt to changing business needs and drive results in a dynamic
environment.
