About The Role
The Assistant Manager of Recreation has a diverse group of responsibilities
that include park safety, guest satisfaction, park maintenance, and cleaning,
as well as supervision of the Team Leaders, guest service attendants, buggy
drivers, and guest recreation team. The Assistant Manager of Recreation is
required to coordinate, manage, schedule, create, and supervise the day-to-day
activities presented and develop and motivate the team while assisting with
general operations around the admissions and lifeguard operations when
required. The Assistant Manager of Recreation will also work alongside the
park's food and beverage operations. The Assistant Manager of Recreation will
report directly to the Recreation Manager when on duty.
About You
Our ideal candidate will be outgoing, confident, and an excellent
communicator. A Bachelor's degree in Theatre, Arts, Recreation, Leisure
Studies, Public Relations, Communication, or a related field from an
accredited university or college or the international equivalent is preferred.
Two to three years of Master of Ceremonies or professional entertainment
(theatre, music, dance, comedy, etc.) experience with resorts, cruise lines,
entertainment or recreational industries preferred. Special talent skills such
as singing, ballroom dancing, and juggling are preferred.
