Where Market intelligence can involve a variety of activities, including
market research, competitor analysis, and customer feedback. While Business
intelligence, on the other hand is broadly focusing on collecting, analysing,
and interpreting data from a variety of internal & external sources to help
identifying economical, political, industrial, and business trends and
patterns, tracking key performance indicators, and make informed decisions
about resource allocation and strategy.
The Strategy & Business Intelligence analyst position will be responsible for
supporting the analytical efforts of the MEA zone Schneider Electric Business
Development &Strategy team. This person will be a generalist strategy analyst,
leading and collaborate on strategic projects related to the multiple markets,
segments, competitors, channels, and technologies relevant to Schneider's MEA
business.

Key responsibilities:
*
Contribute to formulation and monitoring of Zone strategy using sales &
market analysis, competitive intelligence, and analysis of technology and
industry trends.
*
build a collective and comprehensive model to collect synthesize economical,
market, pricing and industrial insights that can support our business
stakeholders and operational leaders in MEA to act on.
*
The candidate would play a pivotal role in constructing our end-to-end BI
system of management to support our business leaders in the zone/clusters with
the valuable data and insights they require to manage and grow their business
effectively.

Analyse the size and growth potential of new and existing markets.
*
Provide analysis alongside data analytics hub on strategic KPIs.
*
Collaboration with segment marketing to identify and research differentiating
market trends for the end markets and end-to-end solutions where our
businesses participate.
*
Support business case development for new strategic solutions and segments,
working with key internal marketing and commercial stakeholders.
*
Performing routine competitive analysis and performance breakdowns of
companies within our industry using intelligence from internal & external
research resources/newsletter to create a consolidation form on zone and
Cluster's level.

Assisting in preparing monthly and quarterly business briefings on market and
competitive business landscape.

Intellectually curious about the energy, energy management, and industrial
automation industries and keeps abreast of latest events including innovation.

Knowledge or experience in the energy and environmental industries.
*
Advanced level skills with Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel.
*
Experience with data visualization software (tableau).

Education
*
Bachelor 's Degree in engineering, management, or another technical
distribution.
*
MBA/ Master's degree, or certification with major/focus in, Economics,
Business, Finance or related study path is a plus.
*
‎3+ years in a position involving research or analytics; business development
experience is a plus
