Description
Main Purpose of the Job
To supervise and coordinate tenders, negotiations and procurement of
pharmaceutical and retail items according to company standard and policies. To
manage and monitor day to day procurement activities according to standards
and policies.
Key Responsibility Areas
* To lead and manage the team.
* Supervise, coordinate, and procurement activities t in collaboration with business owner/central department for large purchases.
* Guide and monitor the tender process and importation process for pharmaceutical procurement.
* Provide general supervision and operational support for the department.
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the Manager.
Requirements
Required Education
Essential: A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
Required Experience
Essential: At least 5-8 years pharmaceutical procurement in a large healthcare
setting of which at least 2 years included supervising a team.
Required job skills and knowledge
* Negotiation skills.
* Pharmaceutical and retail items related knowledge.
* Saudi Arabia healthcare industry.
* Computer Literacy (MS Office).
* ERP Procurement module.
* Financial Acumen.
* Client relationship management.
* Supervising skills.
* Importation process for unregistered medications.
* Contracts management.
* General items and services knowledge.
