Role Purpose
The Procurement Supervisor is responsible for performing category management
including strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract,
performance and risk management.

Candidate requirements
* Responsible to receive and verify purchase requests for materials, equipment and services; ensure checks for correct description and charge account, proper authorization, and other relevant data
* Analyze procurement need, identify and evaluate vendors in local & overseas market, negotiate with suppliers for best deals on pricing & contractual terms ensuring risk management and security of supply
* Conduct RFx process, obtain quotations, communicate with local and overseas vendors, and prepare KPI comparison analysis file for each requisition with full specs, catalogues, brochures, and other data from suppliers
* Work closely with manager to exercise financial authority as per departmental SOP & DOA for delivering commercial and cost-effective procuring process.
* Verify & provide quotation analysis and submit recommendations to relevant manager based on best negotiated price, quality, delivery times and payment terms to get the go ahead.

Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor's Degree or related field of supply chain and Logistics
* Minimum ‎8 years' experience in supply chain with ‎4 years of experience in supervisory position
* Experience in supply of Ground support or industrial equipment (mechanical, electrical and heavy equipment)
* Knowledge contract negotiation, auditing procedures, logistics and supply chain management
* Communication, Teamwork, Interpersonal skills and computer skills as per job requirement
* Language Skills: Knowledge of oral and written English and Arabic/French (preferred).
