Equipment Lead

JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for leading all operational (manufacturing and packaging)
engineering activities at the site to ensure high performance of the end-to-
end value stream.
Responsible for reliability engineering, performance, and maintenance of
production equipment
Accountable for the leadership and development of a team of maintenance
technicians.
Manage the Repair & Maintenance OPEX budget related to production equipment.
Ensure highest standards are in place and in use for Environmental, Health,
Safety and Sustainability initiatives.
Support and Provide effective leadership to drive the EHS Management System to
ensure full compliance with GMPs, Quality, regulatory
KEY RESULTS / ACCOUNTABILITIES
Job Description
Lead the maintenance strategy in conjunction with logistics, Production, and
the maintenance planning to deliver reduced breakdowns, reduced repair times,
and eliminate repeat equipment failures.
Identify and implement strategic investment opportunities on production
equipment to deliver business benefit.
Partner with logistics and production teams to ensure continuity of commercial
supply by setting standards for escalation, communication, and issue
resolution of both tactical and strategic initiatives.
As a member of the engineering leadership team, provide input to (and
ownership of) the engineering team objectives and strategy.
Utilize best-in-class methodologies to deliver continuous improvement to
operational efficiency (TPM, Operator Asset Care, OEE data analysis, etc.).
Benchmark equipment and technician performance against industry competitors to
adopt best practices.
Establish a formal technician training and development program to ensure
technicians remain up to date with standards and practices.
Accountable for individually identified risks and escalate to the line
manager, where applicable develop risk mitigation plan and monitor the
implementation plan
Strictly adhere to Sanofi Health, safety, and Environmental instructions as
per site HSE policy and procedures to prevent accidents. Ensure full GMP
compliance in all performed duties.
Supervise outside maintenance contractors, working inside the plant, and
ensure full GMP and HSE compliance.
Avoid LTIs/Accidents by using the right techniques e.g. manual handling.
Promote quality and safe working all the time applying Zero access and LOTO
standards.
Supervise execution of monthly preventive maintenance plan as well as the
corrective maintenance jobs for all equipment in production and utilities
areas.
Check and ensure records and updating maintenance works in logbooks for the
machines according to quality and HSE requirements.
Documentation and follow up for all workorders with reviewing in addition the
monthly maintenance reporting.
Supervise and participate execution of the installation testing and
commissioning of new equipment 's.
Support Achieving uptime targets as set for all Production equipment for
technical part.
Assure safety for all technician and persons during presence within scope of
equipment, rooms, and areas.
Training of mechanical/Electrical technicians on the assigned area's
equipment.
Maintain Compliance
Abide by the requirements of the internal Code of Ethics including but not
restricted to maintaining high professional standards of conduct in line with
the Company procedure with a duty of care to the reputation of the Company.

well as the training and tools provided by Sanofi, to maintain a good
knowledge and understanding of all ethics and governance relevant to the role
(Sanofi Policies and Procedures and any relevant legal requirements) and

Escalates any decisions, or seek the support of colleagues or management if
personal knowledge and understanding is not at the level required to carry out
any part of the role

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS Education Level • ‎3- ‎5 years'
experience in engineering activity in a Pharmaceutical Multinational company
or food manufacturing is a plus.
• Fluently in English speaking, writing, and reading.
