Job Description
Our Client: A significantly well-known name in the consumer goods world.
Your Role: You would be responsible for creating a step-change in the
direction of their business. Impacting both internally and externally you
should be able to take tough decisions to drive the EBIT, rationalize the
current portfolio, and keep an eye on the short-term goals and the long-term
agenda. There is a considerable intellectual stretch on the role as just
developing a strategy without ensuring proper execution will not achieve the
business objectives. Your recent exposure should be more on the "strategic
level" where you have led a business through change, improved process, and
capability improved EBIT and nurtured a high-performing team. Developing and
executing category growth strategies locally and across multiple geographies,
360 brand communications, strategic and operational marketing, innovation &
new product development. Responsible for managing the overall marketing budget
and continuously realigning marketing investments and improving efficiencies,
Conduct consumer research and generated market intelligence to inform product
and communication development. You will foster strong collaboration amongst
teams, and develop the marketing and NPD teams. Create a positive lasting
brand impression both within the business and externally with customers and
consumers to improve product sales and market share. Deliver innovative, cost-
effective brand and marketing activity and campaigns that cut through to grow
market share and brand reputation.
Must-Have: Significant experience in a senior marketing management role in a
fast-paced, dynamic and innovative environment. A background in FMCG brand or
consumer marketing and in building brand equity and communications including
digital. Proven ability to negotiate, influence and collaborate with other key
decision-makers in a complex matrix environment. Showcases ability to lead,
engage and develop a team. Demonstrable experience in collaborating with and
influencing colleagues and senior stakeholders.
