Warehouse Manager, Western Region
Key responsibilities:
* Manage all warehouse operations, planning and strategic activities for FG and traded goods of the assigned area.
* Establish Quality warehousing operations.
* Assist in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement opportunities and customer satisfaction opportunities.
* Comply with e- convention and follow procedure related to QMS EMS and OSHAS management systems.
Key tasks:
* Warehouse an Management.
* Introduce warehousing best practices and develop operational procedures and policies.
* Monitor department performance through predefined/new KPI's and take correction actions as and when required.
* Plan, organize, or manage the work of subordinate staff to ensure that the work is accomplished in a manner consistent with organizational requirements.
* Train, motivate, coach, and mentor subordinates.
* Lead and perform regular / perpetual / year-end stocktaking.
* To ensure adherance to company policies and procedures.
* To ensure and lead a safe and healthy work environment exists by adhering to company health, safety and environment policies.
* Shall perform other related jobs/ tasks as required
Required education, experience and job-related skills
* Bachelor's Degree in related field.
* Minimum ‎5 years of experience in the warehouse field with at least ‎3 years working in a management capacity.
* Experience with Logistics service providers.
* Advanced MS Office skills and ERP applications
