MEDICAL AND CLINICAL AFFAIRS POLICY/PROCEDURE COORDINATOR

Reviews and analyses policies within the Departments of Medical and Clinical
Affairs (MCA). Makes recommendations for new policies which are required to
meet accreditation standards.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

‎1.Reviews and analyses proposed and existing MCA policies and/or procedures.
‎2.Assists in the planning and organizing of the analysis and evaluation of all
valid MCA polices to ensure accuracy and relevance.
‎3.Ensures references for policies and procedures reflect most current
authoritative published standards.
‎4.Ensures accurate cross referencing for department policies.
‎5.Assists in the periodic systematic review MCA policies and/or procedures.
‎6.Collaborates with Department Chairmen, Divisional Head and Directors within
MCA in the development of new policies/or procedures; recommends revision of
existing policies and/or procedures to area of specialty.
‎7.Assists departments and divisions within MCA with the maintenance of the
archival and retrieval of all MCA policies.
‎8.Participates in studies and assists in the development of plans as requested
and provides input related to area of specialty.
‎9.Attends meetings of assigned committees as a representative of MCA.
Coordinates duties/activities and maintains an effective flow of information
within MCA.
‎10.Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
‎11.Participates in self and other 's education, training and development, as
applicable.

Education

Master 's or Bachelor's Degree in Clinical or Healthcare or related discipline
is required.

Experience Required

Four (‎4) years of related experience with Master 's Degree, or six (‎6) years
of related experience with Bachelor's Degree is required.
