Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Junior Travel Demand Modeler, we'll count on you to:
* To provide engineering, design, and project technical production services.
* Performing analyses using a variety of tools including Excel, traffic modeling platforms or other analytical tools
* Building, calibrating, maintaining and operating macro-simulation models and interpreting their outputs
* Collecting, assimilating and managing model-related data
* Writing reports for internal and external purposes
* Develops solutions to complex problems that require a high degree of innovation and ingenuity
* Maintains effective communication with project team members and with clients
* Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Planning or closely related field
* ‎5+ years experience with transportation planning
* MS Office, CAD, ArcInfo/ArcView
* An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
