Candidate Profile:
* Requirement open for Kuwaiti nationals.
* Bachelor's Degree in engineering or equivalent.
* Certification in Real Estate valuation technics.
* Licensed or certified appraiser.
* Total 5-7 years of experience; 3-5 years in valuation field.
* Good understanding of valuation methods for different types of real estate assets.
* Knowledge of Collateral types.
Key Responsibilities
* Real Estate Valuations: Estimate the market value of any real estate pledged favor the bank: land, buildings, Usufruct (real estate) through site visits or desktop valuation.
* Third Party Valuations Review: Review obtained valuations from third party valuator, get some clarity from them whenever needed and highlight any major comment on the final accepted valuation.
* Real Estate Market Research: Research and remain update to date with the property market and factors such as economical, ecological and political that affect the values of properties.
* Real Estate Collateral Value Impact report: Provide management with reports in case of major event impacting the quality of the real estate collateral pledged in favor of the bank.
* Valuation Database: Build own valuation database of real estate market by region / type of real estate to be able to do a quick desktop valuation whenever needed.AL
* Real Estate Market Reports: Prepare real estate detailed report providing management with the status of the real estate market on semi-annual basis.
* Third Party Valuators: Review the list of accepted third party valuators on bi-annual basis and recommend changes whenever required.
