Sr. Accounts & Control Associate - Retail Finance

Job Summary:
The Senior Associate – Accounts & Control/Supervisor serves as an Accounting
Team Leader within the Business Unit and supports the financial and accounting
aspects of the business.

Reporting to Manager Accounts and Control Xcite (Kuwait & KSA) Home Division,
RFS (Credit).

Key Responsibility:
Performing Balance Sheet account reconciliations and following up with
operations /related parties for corrective actions.
Posting of Journal Transactions post review
Month End Closing Activities -TB Uploads, Consolidation , Hyperion/Tagetik etc
Handling requirements of External and Internal Auditors and independently
making the financials.
Monthly financial reporting to managers
Execution of new IFRS requirements (IFRS ‎9, ‎16 etc.)
Execution of all internal and external project requirements
Fixed Asset Capitalization, counts and Write Off's in coordination with
showroom / service center team’s
Exceptional reporting to MAC, Controller and senior management
Review of Tax -KSA: monthly VAT filing and coordinate with treasury and
VAT consultants, WHT, Zakat etc
Ensuring insurance coverage for all business maintaining proper tracker of
claims
Ensuring Marketplace Books of accounts including all aspects of project- Be
part of automation projects
Posting of customer receipts and tagging.
Gap analysis of key process and initiating automation wherever possible

Candidate Requirements:
A graduate in Accounting or Finance with deep understanding of accounting and
financial principles.

Professionally Qualified – CA, ACCA, CPA

A minimum of ‎4-‎5 years of experience working in an accounting function,
preferably in Big ‎4 or a big retail company.

An organized approach with proven ability to work under pressure and meet
tight deadlines.

Strong communication skills in English with a bility to communicate and
collaborate cross-functionally in an organization
