Sr. Accounts & Control Associate - GL (F&B)

Location : Fahaheel

The Sr. Associate will supervise the general accounting in SAP accounting
system of Food and Beverage business of Alghanim Industries.

Following are the job responsibility:
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Oversees Accounting operations, which include financial General ledger
accounting in SAP system

Supervise Accounting staff and handle a team of ‎2-‎3 Accountants

Duties/Responsibilities:
Timely close the books of accounts as per corporate guideline and submit the
financials in Hyperion / Tagetik system in a timely manner.

Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules and discuss the open issues with
concerned business team for timely action

Prepare monthly legal financials and review with Asset. Manager

Ensures that financial reports comply with generally accepted accounting
principles and IFRS

Handle the insurance declaration and follow-up on timely submission to
business as and when required

Prepare annual legal financial statements and submit to auditors on a timely
basis

Performing reconciliations of GL vs sub GL

Supports annual audit by providing information and answers to auditors.

Assist Tax department in providing the information on various tax requirements
applicable across GCC market

Help Asset. Manager / Controller in in formulating accounting processes and
procedures

Performs other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent supervisory skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Preferred written and verbal communication skills in Arabic

Preferred experience in SAP accounting, MS office tools etc.

Effective communication skill and problem-solving skills

Education and Experience:
University Graduate in Accounting /Finance

Preferably a qualified CMA / CPA/ ACCA/ACA of ‎1-‎3 years of experience
