Jazeera Airways is looking for a Cabin Care Supervisor to be based out of
Kuwait for ensuring accomplishments of scheduled, unscheduled maintenance and
rectification of defects pertaining to aircraft Cabin interiors and exteriors,
to ensure maintenance is accomplished to the required standards and the
operating programme is achieved in an efficient and safe manner to the defined
KCASR/EASA PART-145 requirements and in accordance with quality standards
required by JZR Procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Reviewing the day to day scope of Cabin Work, Liaising with Planning Department to action Planned Defects in Base/Line and to make ensure that the Planned Defects are rectified.
* Monitoring and maintaining the data of the Cabin Defects.
* Informing the Line Maintenance Manager of any impending service disruptions, problems or areas of concern that may have an impact on the operating programme on Day-to Day Basis.
* Advising Day-to-Day basis the Cabin Care team about priorities and any impending service disruptions, problems or areas of concern that may have an impact on the operating programme and as well as ensuring that the smooth operation of Cabin Base/Line Maintenance is carried out for achieving the same.
* Ensuring staff under his immediate control adhere to published technical and safety Requirements defined in published manuals and other publications.
* Liaise with the responsible department in order to manage the Planned Maintenance in Base/Line Maintenance.
* Ensuring documentation and the certification of each Aircraft is completed in a timely manner and to the defined procedures to meet Company requirements.
* Assisting the Line Maintenance Manager in the compilation of technical Delay reports in a timely manner, reporting significant defects, discrepancies, incidents, accidents and events as required by the TPH.
* Perform periodic inspections of cabin areas and ensuring the expedient rectification of the findings to maintain cabin standards. Perform periodic inspections of the aircraft exteriors and supervise the contracted cleaning to ensure that cleaning is performed in accordance with Company requirements.
* Monitoring, recommending and implementing training programmes for the development of his staff to improve quality, performance and gain expertise on cabin items requiring specific skills.
* Liaison with Engineering to recommend cabin modifications to improve passenger comfort or improve safety.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Diploma in Engineering (or equivalent) or Aircraft Maintenance Licence (preferred)
* At least 10 years' experience with exposure to the technical, operational, and cabin appearance aspects of airline operations and aircraft maintenance organizations.
* Knowledge of Part 145, Part M and other legislation.
* Detail knowledge of Detail knowledge of cabin interior spares and their layout.
* Communication and business writing skills with basic Contract Administration skills.
