Job summary
responsible and able to provide aviation security at the various environment
from high intensity population areas such as main checkpoints, gates at the
Airport Terminal to more open environments such as Hold baggage areas,
perimeter access and airside patrolling.
Tasks
• Ensure the aviation Security Standards are met and delivered to the highest
Customer Service Standards achievable.
• Manage the searching of passengers, crew and airport personnel to recognized
international standards. This will be achieved through physical and X-Ray,
EDS, ETD or CTX screening within the terminal areas.
• Ensure all staff has an understanding of their responsibilities in the event
of a restricted or prohibited item being identified.
• Manage the access control into restricted zones and maintaining the
landside/airside barrier.
• Ensure all incidents are reported accurately and immediately to the
Screening Supervisor
• Undertake any additional duties including administration such as incident
report writing
Requirements.
Essential:
• Good Knowledge of Aviation industry operation.
• Must be able to effectively communicate in English
• An understanding of Arabic language (Desired)
• Minimum of three years Secondary Education or preferably college education.
• holding valid and transferrable residency in Kuwait.
Desirable:
• relevant work experience of security, aviation experience will be adding
advantage.
• Experience in working within a Western Security Company
• Strong Customer Service focused.
• Methodical worker.
• Good temperament.
• Able to work well under pressure and in an outdoor environment.
