Position Summary:
NexGen Cloud is seeking a highly skilled and motivated QA Manager to oversee
and lead the quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will be
responsible for implementing and managing QA policies, procedures, and
strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions and
services.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement QA strategies to ensure effective testing and quality
assurance processes across projects and products.
Lead and manage a team of QA professionals, providing guidance, mentorship,
and support.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development,
product management, and operations, to establish QA standards and practices.
Define and maintain QA metrics for performance measurement, track defects, and
drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Conduct thorough reviews of requirements, specifications, and technical design
documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test
scripts to validate software functionality and performance.
Identify, prioritize, and escalate critical issues and risks impacting product
quality or delivery timelines.
Ensure adherence to compliance standards and regulatory requirements relevant
to the industry.
Stay updated with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices
in QA methodologies.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Proven experience of at least ‎3 years as a QA Manager in a similar role with
relevant exposure to Infrastructure (private / public / hybrid cloud services)
or HPC technologies.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Experience in leading and managing QA teams, fostering a collaborative and
results-driven environment.
Proficiency in test management tools, automated testing frameworks, and
version control systems.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with
stakeholders at all levels.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to
detail.
