Our company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cost Controller
to join our team in Al
Kuwait, Kuwait. As a Cost Controller, you will be responsible for monitoring
and analyzing costs
related to our projects and ensuring that they stay within budget. You will
work closely with project
managers and finance teams to track expenses, identify cost-saving
opportunities, and provide accurate
financial reports.
Responsibilities:
Monitor project budgets and track expenses to ensure compliance
Analyze cost variations and provide detailed reports to project managers
Identify and investigate cost-saving opportunities within projects
Collaborate with finance teams to accurately allocate project costs
Prepare financial reports, including cost forecasts and variance analysis
Ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures
Coordinate with procurement teams to monitor and control material costs
Review and analyze project contracts to identify cost implications
Assist in the preparation of project budgets and cost estimates
Participate in project meetings to provide cost-related updates and
recommendations

Preferred Candidate:
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
Proven experience as a Cost Controller or similar role in F&B; or FMCG
industries
Proficient in financial analysis and cost management techniques
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial software
Experience in the construction or engineering industry is a plus
