Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organisation:
The Digital Brand Team sits within the wider Digital Team, which is also home
to CRM and Performance teams. You will partner with these teams, Brand Comms
teams and our media agency network to ensure our media investment is best in
class.
Objectives:
To ensure world class media management is developed, communicated,
implemented, measured and improved upon. To help plan, buy and measure the
best possible campaigns that beneficially impact brand perception for the MENA
market.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the end-to-end media campaign planning process across tier one campaigns and lead the process across tier two campaigns
* Support communications with adidas category leads (Originals, Running, Football, Outdoors) to ensure MENA media activations are accurately represented in the wider business
* Support with the regional media agency relationship; to ensure the best quality output is delivered across media strategy, planning, buying, measurement, and partnerships
* Support in the production process for media campaigns, working closely with the external production agency to ensure all creatives are delivered on time and to spec
* Collaborate with Measurement team and stakeholders on reporting and analysing the performance of media campaigns and work with the agency on learnings and insights for future campaigns

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Planning, implementing, and measuring digital media campaigns
* Experience planning and/or buying media in both a local country or regional market
* Experience working with multiple stakeholders on campaign development and activation (from agency or client side)
* Full understanding of digital media and how it fits into the media and marketing ecosystem
* Good knowledge of media KPIs - what are useful and what are questionable
* Experience of either creating or assessing media plans across all media types
Soft Skills:
* Ability to work in complex, diverse and pressured environments
* Ability to handle multiple projects at one time
* Excellent written & presentation skills
* Strong but empathetic communications approach and experience at relationship management within a complex matrix structure
* International experience nice to have but not needed
* Broad understanding and passion for the sports and/or entertainment industry
* Inquisitive, insightful and thoughtful
* Empathetic yet prepared to challenge and question the norm

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
* Degree educated or equivalent years of experience
* Relevant media agency experience
* Client-side experience preferred but not required
* English language fluency
