Opportunity Summary:
Upland Software is seeking a Contracts Administrator to support our Customer
Experience Management (CXM) sales teams with contracts management needs. We
are looking for a junior to mid-level Contracts Administrator with 2-5 years
of experience, preferably in the software and IT Services industries. This is
a great opportunity for someone who is motivated, energized, and is a self-
starter desiring to being exposed to a variety of commercial transactions and
business challenges. This is also a great opportunity for someone who is
looking to advance his or her career by moving to a high-volume position at a
multi-national, publicly-traded software company.
Primary Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day administration and execution of contracts associated
with new and renewing contracts
* Assist in the creation, management, and audit of contracting policies, processes, and documentation to ensure compliance with company policy and needs
* Work closely with internal business teams, vendors, and partners to move deals through to close with a high sense of urgency
* Interprets contract requirements, obligations, and risks and advise the appropriate decision makers towards negotiation and resolution
* Supports company-wide efforts to organize, manage, and archive contracts
* Participates in special projects to develop, implement and enhance processes and policies that improve efficiency and standardization
Requirements:
*
You have 2-5 years of contract administration experience, with software
licensing and/or SaaS experience preferred
* You have experience drafting, negotiating, and advising on a variety of commercial contracts, including Master Services Agreements, Statements of Work, and Sales Orders, as well as Partner and Vendor Agreements
* You have knowledge of and experience working with consumer protection and privacy laws, such as the TCPA, CAN-SPAM, CASL and the GDPR
* Strong analytical skills, with a focus on problem solving, anticipating business needs and offering solutions
* You must have excellent organizational skills and be a strong written and verbal communicator, with great attention to detail, common sense and a sense of humor
* You will have the ability to learn quickly and positively contribute to the team upon your start, you will need to be able to work independently in a constantly changing and sometimes ambiguous and complex environment
* This is a fast-paced environment and being able to work at incredible speed and with focus is a must for this role, you must be able to prioritize responsibilities to manage a large workload with very tight timelines
* Bachelor 's Degree or equivalent professional experience
