The position aims at supporting the business and the Head of Legal/ Head of
Legal and Contract Management in all legal matters, in particular :
Key accountabilities:
* Prepare, review and negotiate contracts, or other legal documents with an acceptable level of risks
* Support the business in all legal and contractual matters including claim management, dispute settlement
* Contractual and legal review and assessment of tender documents
* Support the business on definition of claim strategy, litigation, arbitration or other dispute matters
* Handling of corporate law matters
* Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct.

Performance measurements:
Objectives, targets and performance measurements are defined on a yearly basis
in line with the company's financial targets, the General Counsel's objectives
for the Legal, Compliance and Contract Management Function.
Educational Requirements __ :
Mandatory:
Law degree in business law (Master II)

Desirable:
LLM/ LLB
Experience Requirements:

Mandatory:
* At least ‎6 years of relevant experience in an international business environment or law firm.
* Familiar with international contracts
* Previous exposure to international practice through studies or work experience
* Familiar with public tenders
* Fluent Arabic
* Excellent English language skills

Desirable:
* Private practice experience in international law firm is a plus
