Job Description



  • Designs, builds, and tests mechanical equipment, Systems, and automation systems by using CAD software.

  • Key KPIs include:

  • Creates CAD models, including part and assembly drawings, Bill of Materials (BOMs) to support manufacturing, testing and assembly, and support components to assist with assembly

  • Provide support during the product assembly process, ensuring that the machine is built properly and according to design specifications

  • Contributes to the development and application of test plans.

  • Works with senior engineers to develop alternatives and options for further development of projects and products.

  • Work to design Hydraulic Systems/Panels

  • Prepares a descriptive technical report on an occurring problem and submits it to the manager for reviews and approvals.

  • Ensure that drawings, work instructions and other works are to be in accordance with relevant company's engineering and industry standards and QHSSE requirements.

  • Assess and point out potential mechanical and technical risks to the Engineering team.

  • Follow all HSE Requirements

  • Assist in implementing Quality Management system (ISO ‎9001:2015)

  • Provide technical product support to internal depts. and customers

  • To produce reports, proposals, technical documentation and user guides as required and to ensure other team members and teams knowledge are up to date.

  • Conduct awareness sessions for the team and GS employees when needed.

  • Good analytical & problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent command of verbal and written English.

  • The ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial

  • Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies


Technical Skills



  • Familiar with the international standards, industrial requirement, and regulations.

  • Familiar with the manufacturing process.


Education



  • Bachelor of Engineering with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering
