Are you a creative problem solver who can comfortably shape complex data sets
into insights and combine new technologies into innovative data products for
supporting data driven decision making? We are looking for experts in Data
Visualisation, Data Product Design and Cloud DevOps to join our global centre
of excellence in London, Madrid and now also expanding to Cairo.
About our company - At Vodafone Group we build connections to all our Global
operations, acting as an advisory board to drive consistency and customer
excellence across 30 countries and for over 420 million customers. We are
constantly uncovering tactics to innovate the way we operate, set our global
standards or lead our strategic performance.
About our team - Data Product Design team (London, Madrid and Cairo) is the
innovation hub for the wider global Data and Analytics team that works across
all business functions and local markets. Scope includes the creation of new
data product prototypes as well as defining global standards, optimal delivery
methods and quality assurance.
About your role - We are looking for someone to drive an innovation mind set
and culture through introduction of new applications and products, to embed
analytical processes and/or output into data and insights products. You will
be a subject matter expert in the field of data visualisation who drives
adherence to visualisation principles to ensure consistent, high quality
output. You will continuously try out the latest technologies to combine them
in creative new ways to enable faster delivery. You will set examples and
inspire others with proving the art of the possible.
Long Description
You must have
* Outstanding understanding of Business Intelligence, IT & Cloud Devops
* Strong desire for continuous learning through hands-on prototyping and experimentation
* Excellent numeracy skills
* Strong data analytics, data management, data transformation and modelling skills
* Proven data products development capability & analytics experience
* Experience with working across business and IT teams; ideally both on and off shore
* Excellent understanding of BI and Big Data technology and techniques.
* Good communication skills with ability to influence (senior) stakeholders
Desired skills**
* Google Cloud Platform full stack development (or AWS full stack)
* Qlik (or other advanced visualisation like PowerBI, Tableau)
* SQL, Python, Javascript, html, css, APIs, general programming
* At Scale or other data wrangling tool like Alteryx
* Office365 (PowerAutomate and PowerApps)
