Data and Analytics Transformation Lead
The new team Data Analytics and Insights (DAIS) set in Cairo starting Sep 2022
is an excellence center in Vodafone Intelligence Solutions (_VOIS) which is an
extension of Vodafone Group Data and Analytics (D &A) function that serves all
Vodafone operators across Europe.
The Group D&A team and DAIS are working on a major data transformation project
called Nucleus which involves moving Vodafone operators data from legacy
servers to Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to become a common platform for all
markets and build common data models and products that would benefit all
markets and maximize data analytics value.
As a Data and Analytics Transformation Lead your main responsibilities are:
* The purpose of this role is to understand the commercial challenges being faced in vodafone markets, the landscape of Data & Analytics capability both available today and opening-up through the move to the Cloud and bring these together into an agreed development roadmap that will drive insight and release value for the business.
* Develop an agreed backlog and roadmap of D&A development activities, working with Product Managers and delivery teams.
Long Description**
* Work with Product Managers and the business to understand the Value Case for D&A development Epics and how this will be evidenced.
* Act as consultant for new markets joining Nucleus project on data transformation roadmap, data governance, and derived value from newly implemented data modules and products.
Requirements
* Computer Science qualification or equivalent of University degree (or equivalent working knowledge of data);
* SQL knowledge required.
* Consulting background.
* Experience as Business Data Analyst, with strong data analysis skills, familiar with IT processes in an agile environment.
* Comfortable with executive level comm and the ability to balance conflicting needs.
* Able to lead with influence in a multi culture and multi layered matrix organization.
