About the role



  • The Project Manager (PM) is the SPOC for an assigned project, including planning, execution and monitoring. All along the phases, the PM provides the global reporting and he is the escalation point for any issue.

  • As such, the PM assigns, leads, assists and coordinates the project management of a project through the support team. This team is assigned during the life cycle of the project, and reports to the PM in a matrix management scheme (cross-functional work team).

  • Working closely with the various technical and business teams, the PM ensures that any new project follows the standard guidelines provided. The PM guarantees the integrity of the information provided to the project team for planning and execution of the project. If necessary and not yet available, the PM also requests production of any necessary documentation.

  • The PM is responsible to evaluate the workload in a project, and request for additional resources if necessary.

  • Based on the inputs provided by the various involved teams, the PM identifies risks and constraints, applying effective management methodology.

  • The PM provides a dashboard, timely and accurately, to all the involved stakeholders. This dashboard is able to show a view on the project, thus highlighting the red flags and action plans put in place to remove them. Apart from the dashboard, the PM also provides required and necessary project controls in order to effectively manage all the phases of the project.

  • The PM applies project management best practices, and also produces the key documents such as any required specific project management report, project controls, statements of work, service delivery kit, acceptance test plans, critical path analysis and project plans with the help of support teams when necessary.

  • The PM also guarantees that the operational models are well defined before starting any implementation of services for a project.

  • The PM ensures the execution and compliance of processes, methods and tools within each project.

  • The PM is able to work with and apply modern project management methodologies following guidelines provided by the PMBOK guide and the Agile manifesto.


About you



  • Minimum ‎5 years' proven experience at working within a multi-cultural & global environment.

  • Minimum of ‎5 years' project management experience managing internal or external customer-facing projects.

  • Strong technical skills around telecommunications / IT solutions and services.

  • Leadership and matrix team management capabilities in a multi-national environment.

  • Ability to handle complex situations.

  • Effective customer management communication.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate both internal and external resources.

  • Fluency in written and oral English, other languages a plus.

  • PMI PMP certification mandatory.
