Role purpose:
Act as the data analyst for the Partner Performance & Service Delivery by
managing the operational dashboards and providing key analysis & reports. Give
recommendations to assist in the decision-making process as well as
detect/highlight issues that may have positive or negative impact on the
performance of our partners.
The selected candidate will be working on high profile strategic partnerships
in VBG P&S; covering four portfolios and will provide the insight to allow
senior leadership to make data-driven decisions
Key to this role is the ability to source data and translate into relevant,
useful information that can then drive action and support recommendations for
excellent customer experience. You will also be responsible for evolving and
developing our analytics capability using the latest digital toolsets.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership

• Generate ad-hoc reports, analysis and deliver presentations created from different source files (Actuals, Forecast, Targets etc.)


• Develop different Business Insights and Management Information depending on Level of viewer up to Senior Leadership Team (via APEX, Power BI, etc.)


• Manage multiple demands across senior stakeholders


• Lead continuous improvement on existing reports to ensure they remain fit for purpose


• Review reports on a regular basis to simplify user experience and increase automation

• Advanced Power BI practitioner demonstrated capability in the use and creation of previous dashboards


• Commercial skill, excellent presentation skills, flexibility to adapt concepts and proposals to customer priority areas.


• Strong communication and decision making skills - ability to balance conflicting interests


• Excellent command of computer use (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, projects, Visio).


• Advanced analytical and data interpretation Skills


• Statistical software experience is a must


• Proven experience in writing and maintaining support documentation (backup, recovery, operations, etc.).


• Ability to prepare clear and comprehensive technical and end user standards and procedures


• Ability to approach technical/operational challenges from a business perspective.


• Knowledge and understanding of UX/UI to increase adoption rates of target audiences.

• Strong working knowledge of MS Access, Crystal Reports, SQL Developer or other equivalent report writer.

• Already implemented MS Access fully featured databases before.


• Professional experience developing SQL Server database objects.


• Professional experience with database architecture and schema design.


• Develop data reporting scripts and operational reports.


• Implement enhancements to optimize databases for management and continuous improvement opportunities.


• Maintain, enhance & develop critical SQL Server databases; Tests and modifies database management system applications and controls.


• Able to demonstrate an understanding of the full range of customer information/data management systems and related processes and protocols.


• Create and write SQL code for Reporting database based on customer and internal report specifications.


• Strong analytical, problem solving skills.
