Job Description:


Required for a reputable company at Manama, Bahrain
To provide translation services to clients and internally as required
Reporting to Center Manager and CEO
Consults with Clients and other employees
a. Position Summary
The function of the Arabic Translator & Liaison Officer is to provide
professional translation services to clients and some translation assistance
to staff as directed by the Center Manager and/or CEO.
b. Primary Responsibilities
‎1. To provide a high standard of translation from Arabic-English or English-
Arabic of various documents.
‎2. Takes direction from the Centre Manager and the CEO.
‎3. Dealing with ad hoc correspondence in Arabic as directed by the Centre
Manager, CEO and the Visa Processing Officer (drafting and editing of Power of
Attorney's, letters, memos and faxes as required).
‎4. To represent the company at the various Ministries/Government bodies when
required.
‎5. May be required to assist with various other administrative tasks
c. Attributes and Other Requirements
a. Excellent communication skills required both verbal and written and in
English and Arabic
b. Ability to communicate at a senior level i.e. with senior employees within
the Ministries and other Government organisations
c. Possesses an enthusiastic and professional approach to work and provide
first class administrative support to clients
d. Ability to prioritise and manage multi-task assignments and adapt quickly
to the needs of a fast-paced environment
e. Works as a team player with a 'can-do' attitude establishing and
maintaining harmonious working relationships with all team members
f. Has a thorough knowledge of the company's rules and procedures and adheres
to them at all times
g. Has a thorough knowledge of all the company's services
h. Maintains proficiency in Microsoft Office and on the use of office support
machines, i.e. copiers, scanners, laptops, projectors, telephone conferencing
and fax machines
i. Takes initiative in learning the various support functions of the office
and keeps informed of any changes in the office
j. May be required for holiday cover duties with advance notice being given by
the Center Manager


Job Requirements:



  • Term of Contract Permanent one year renewable contract with three month

  • probationary period

  • Hours of Work Centre hours are 8am - ‎5:15pm Sun-Thurs

  • Negotiable Remuneration package.

  • Benefits are standard, ‎21 days annual leave, plus the national holidays are also given as per labor law, they will receive a return flight home to their own country at the end of their first year and each year thereafter.
