As an Associate Consultant, you have the opportunity to join our growing
Technical project delivery practice, focusing on technical activities. Become

Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first ‎6-‎12
months you will work toward completing?
* The Associate Consultant is a technology specialist and subject matter expert, providing customer guidance by contributing to technical workshops, low-level designs and implementation of use cases into high-quality solutions. In addition to customer facing Delivery Consultants have a broad awareness of VMware's portfolio, extending to both product, services, and identify opportunities for upsell whilst in delivery.
* You will work directly with resource managers, project managers, technical staff and business subject matter experts to orchestrate project delivery to ensure projects are delivered and executed in alignment with the overall project plan, driving customer outcomes, and customer satisfaction. This will give you the chance to shine and demonstrate your leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills as well as your business acumen.
* Within ‎90 days of employment, you will successfully develop and maintain technical path for VMware products doing deployments, and Migration executions.
* Within ‎120 days of employment, you will collaborate with cross-functional VMware project teams which could consist of VMware pre-sales architects, engineers, product management and support staff.
What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or
skills will you be performing on a regular basis?
* Work as part of a wider project team or on consulting engagements
* Help in contributing to low-level designs while functioning as an advisory resource for "Best Practices" and driving adoption of VMware solutions.
* Develop use cases into high-quality solutions in your specialist area
* Stay within the scope of the contracted work and meet the deadlines for both time and materials or fixed scope engagements. Take ownership and accountability for individual deliverables.
* Discusses project matters with Project Managers, logs support calls and interface with Support
* Contribute details to and successfully execute change requests and rollback plans when required demonstrating a good understanding of Change Management processes
* Maintain current, high-level technical knowledge of the entire VMware product line and advanced level knowledge of the core VMware product line and your specialist area
* Assist in the development of our consulting service offerings as well as developing white papers and best practices
* Must enjoy working with leading edge technology and being an intrinsic part of a fantastic team
* Conduct business meetings with customers and internal stakeholders in English and French, Spanish, Dutch, German or Italian depending on your regional alignment and native language capabilities

culture of the team like?
The hiring manager for this role is one of our Senior Managers within the
WWCC. His expertise has been shaped by ‎15 years in the IT industry in Delivery
roles both technical and project management based then for the last ‎7 years
straight in regional delivery management across Europe.
This leader 's management style is based on enablement and empowerment. As
part of his team, you will be sharing both the success of the group as well as
the responsibilities thus maximizing your contribution to the progress of the
BU and allowing you to grow and sharpen your skills profile.
The team is made of project managers and technical consultants, all operating
on the frontline with our customer, sales teams and technical staff within
VMware in Europe, the Middle East and Americas. The team works flexible hours
without alignment to a certain region or Geo and every individual is expecting
to rotate between the mentioned Geos iteratively.
Where is this role located?
This role is based out of VMware 's Cairo (Egypt) office and is open to
candidates in the surrounding Egypt.
