Summary of the role


Manage and grow the existing small to medium customer accounts. Support the
customers in their operational activities. May support the account managers to
deal with larger existing accounts.


Main responsibilities




Sales and account management**



  • Provide technical and administrative product information

  • Handle incoming sales queue calls and emails related to contract management, extranet access, agent signs and other sales-related requests

  • Provide assistance to the sales team for overflow and bounced calls where immediate assistance is required, and the sales team is not available.

  • Monitor customer performance internally and externally.

  • Establish trusted customer relationships at any level, across several functions.

  • Support the acquisition by providing an analysis of prospects' requirements to develop their business, and by assuring efficient presales of Amadeus products and solutions.

  • Liaise with sales, products, and delivery team to support presales activity in key negotiation with prospects and customers.

  • Support the implementation of the sales adoption strategy ensuring achievement of high-quality technical and functional services to the assigned customers.

  • Ensure cross-selling & up-selling targets of new product & solution lines as well as additional services and consultancy.

  • Ensure the most profitable customers' usage of Amadeus technology through adoption of products and contents, air and beyond air.

  • Ensure full alignment with the Amadeus organization to secure customer satisfaction and to meet sales goals including Product Management, IT Support, and other relevant teams.

  • Implement clear account governance as required per account with Amadeus regional and central organizations and regular internal alignment calls with all parties involved.




Business relationship**



  • Manage Amadeus business relationship with assignment accounts and meet annual sales goals.

  • Understand customers need and translate these into operational opportunities.

  • Meet sales goals including business retention, growth and long-term profitability for Amadeus.




Represent Amadeus**
*
Deliver and present Amadeus proposals of products and services to clients
* Ensure fit between product proposals and client 's expectations.




Internal reporting and knowledge sharing
*
Provide weekly and monthly planning and reporting on activities to the sales
manager
* Feed CRM with the relevant information of each activity.
* Transmit relevant client, market, and competitor information, as well as product functionality requirements

Requirements:**
*
Bachelor 's degree in business administration, computer science, engineering
or in a related field.
* Consolidated experience of at least ‎3 years in similar positions
* Understanding of IT solutions and services for travel industry.
* Excellent presentation, communication, negotiation skills.
* Proficiency in English is essential, written and spoken.
