Endocrinology and Neurology.
About the role:
Reporting to the General Manager MEA, as Country Manager you will be
responsible for managing Pharmanovia business in Egypt, establishing strong
relations with distribution and manufacturing partners. You will provide
strategic commercial direction to achieve Pharmanovia's ambitious performance
objectives. These objectives include the achievement of company revenue and
profit targets, maximizing brands and product lifecycle opportunities,
ensuring successful promotion and supply of products, as well as integration
and launch of new products in the region.
Main responsibilities & duties:
* Establishing, managing and driving business strategy in the country, taking responsibility for the profitable development of the country business through maximizing the potential sales and profit growth, and enhancing market accessibility
* Managing relationships with distributors and manufacturing partners, providing strategic direction for Pharmanovia products, this includes partner selection, contract negotiations, alliance management, market access, marketing, and promotion initiatives
* Leading the integration of acquired business, building the required commercial model
* Leading the successful launch of new products developed by the in-house new product development team
* Working closely with supply chain to optimise the continuity of supply, providing volume sales forecasts and monitoring stock with distributors
* Managing all pricing cases, establishing a pricing strategy based on full understanding of referencing roles applied in the country to maintain the highest and optimal prices
* Representing Pharmanovia with key stakeholders within the country, including health authorities, key opinion leaders, payers
* Providing market intelligence required for all business development projects
* Ensuring compliance of all promotional materials with local requirements
* Providing timely business updates and performance reviews
About you:

You will have experience of managing business within the speciality pharma
industry in Egypt in a similar role. As well as a proven track record in
managing partners and distributors we are also looking for:
* Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical science
* Excellent IT skills including MS Excel and PowerPoint
* Fluency in English and Arabic
* Strong networking, planning and organisational skills
* Ability to manage complex projects to short timelines
* Desire to get involved in the business at all levels and across disciplines in a global matrix organisation
* Data-driven decision maker, with the ability to analyse complex situations, focusing on the key issues - communicating concisely and with clarity
* Understanding of local pricing and regulatory environment
* Entrepreneurial, results-driven and strong influencing skills
* Professional gravitas, logical thinker and an agile team player
