Job Description



  • Operate and monitor all systems within the control room in an efficient manner ensuring that work is undertaken in compliance with the operating procedures, legislation.

  • Plans, assigns, and evaluates the work of the Control Room personnel.

  • Plans and coordinates preventative maintenance for security systems / access control, and data storage systems and equipment.

  • Reviews and prepares time and material cost estimates on proposed security systems projects.

  • Carry out regular equipment checks and report all equipment faults to the Plant Security Manager.

  • Develops system specifications, assists in selecting vendors for security systems.

  • Ensure the security of the control room and all equipment are maintained properly at all times.

  • Responsible for all Data Security / confidentiality that reaches to his knowledge because of his work & the Control Room Staff.

  • Responsible for the efficient and proper usage of the security systems and it is only used for its designated purposes.

  • Ensure the accurate recording of all events and actions monitored with the control room. Including the daily logs of the events.

  • Keep the system up to date and produce monthly/quarterly performance reports as required.

  • Responsible for the Control Room personal training and development in order to maintain an understanding of current CCTV legislation, regulation and Best Practices.

  • Ensure full compliance and the Control Room Staff with the company's policies and Procedures.

  • Keep constant communication with the Security Manager to report any events/incidents that require security interference or disrupt the daily operation.

  • Lead and supervise CCTV operators to make sure that people and assets are Safe & Secured.

  • Save and protect the Plant's assets by leading a professional team to make sure they detect any act that could harm the property.


Skills



  • ‎5 years of Proven Experience in a similar role, In supervisory level.

  • Deep understanding of Security guidelines & Regulations.

  • Ability in producing reports and developing relevant policies.

  • Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree of Engineering (IT is preferred)

  • Very good command of both Arabic & English Languages (spoken and written).

  • Excellent Computer Skills- MS office - PowerPoint.
