ROLE SUMMARY:

The H&S Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining the school Health and
Safety policies and procedures and ensuring safety environment for our staff
and students. In addition, he will be responsible for the implementation of
safety precautionary measures and assuring the school is following government
H&S regulations.
The Health and Safety coordinator is the lead on all matters relating to
premises Health & Safety for annual inspections, in addition to working with
the Safeguarding lead at the school to ensure safeguarding regulations is also
followed for staff and students.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the day-to-day health and safety of the school facilities.


• Responsible for applying all health and safety policies and procedures for students, staff, contractors, and the overall school.


• Responsible for scheduling health and safety daily and weekly checks and responding to urgent health and safety issues.


• Meet the requirements of government organization (Ministry of Education, Ministry of Health) health and safety protocols.


• Reviewing First Aid boxes inventory and supplies.

  Assist the Head of Operations & Safeguarding lead when required.
  THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  Bachelor's degree in a related field.

  
  


• In-depth working knowledge of the Health & Safety.


• A minimum of ‎3+ years' experience in the same position.


• Confidence with use of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.


• Good command of English language.


• Experience as a health and safety coordinator.


• Excellent communication skills.


• Attention to detail.


• Excellent computer literacy skills.
