Project Services Lead

Drilling activities for Offshore, the candidate will be part from the Well
Engineering organization and will be accountable and act as Lead project cost
controller in combination with the role of Performance and Planning Lead
managing the sequence planning and operational & financial performance
reporting into finance, and other relevant organizations
What 's the role?
Main responsibilities include:
* Deliver financial analysis for decision support and input to GM Wells Operations Ownership of Wells
* Handles all queries regarding cost estimates, invoices, PR/PO or rates clarifications from Wells Engineers, Cost Desk, Materials, Logistics, C &P (Ops & Onshore) Finance (Ops & Onshore).
* Performs weekly reconciliation of cost trackers submitted by vendor to cost captured in Open Wells and work with costs desk to reconcile before the weekly transparency meeting. Validates and analyses invoices against VOWD captured in Open Wells from the estimates received from the vendors.
* Managing the communication between the offshore rig and the Base Manager to and ensure materials issuance have been recorded and captured in the well cost.
* Support where and when needed to ensure a smooth invoicing and payment process as well as timely submission of cost trackers during Well operations and ensure contract volume discount has been applied with the contractors if applicable.
* Managing and maintaining interfaces (personal/manual/electronic) critical to providing accurate, timely information, such as accounts payable, C&P and project service providers. Support contract holder as and when needed resolving invoice disputes & discrepancies.
* Analyze on a weekly basis the ACV to the C&P lead and contract holders Maximizing usage of SAP for the project to enhance operational effectiveness.
* Provides Wells activity inputs into PU annual Work Budget & Plan (WB&P) and mid/long term business plans - annual business planning/OP cycle Manage Wells OP budget plans and LE & DVA updates to relevant stakeholders.
* Manage Wells Workplan and Budget

What we need from You
* We are looking for an enthusiastic person with a passion for financial analyses, fluent in English both in writing as well as verbal, masterly Excel skills.
* The well team is an operational team you must be able adapt quickly to changing priorities in your work and deliverables.
* A solid project services background in global organizations working in different time zones, with different cultures and disciplines is a must.
