The Office of the CTO at Dell Technologies is responsible for predicting
future technology trends and recommending investment strategies based on those
trends. The Data Office team uses leading technologies in order to use data to
predict future technology trends.
You will be involved in assessing the competition, developing technology and
products, and generating intellectual property. As a Machine Learning
Engineer , you will join a global team of data scientists, data engineers,
developers, researchers, and technologists in researching and applying the
latest ML and DL technologies, leveraging the Data power in adding innovation
value to business strategic decisions.
What you'll achieve:
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will work with a cross functional global
team to build and deploy state of the art ML and DL technologies.
You Will:
* Apply common and advanced machine learning techniques to create deployable models on large-scale data. This requires knowledge of a broad range of supervised and unsupervised learning techniques.
* Use best practices for code optimization, model and system validation, and model governance.
* Engineer and document model governance for a variety of large-scale business use cases with low latency requirements.
* Optimize code for existing data streams, machine learning models, and APIs using best practices in software engineering and experimental design.
* Perform end-to-end steps involved in model development, while establishing subject-matter expertise in key horizontal or vertical themes.
* Work with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs.
* Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.

Here's what we are looking for with this role:
Essential Requirements:
* Master's degree in Machine Learning, Data science or any related field is a must.
* ‎0-‎1 Years of Experience.
* Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge and applied skills
* Proficiency in relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Cassandra.
* Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow, etc.
* Proficient in object-oriented/object function scripting languages: Python, Java, C++, Scala, etc.
* Ability to work in a team environment.
* Good understanding of business environment and industry trends.
* Good communication and problem solving skills
Desirable Requirements:
* Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management.
* Working knowledge of big data technologies
