Technical and Design Promotion Manager

You will be working as Technical and Design Promotion Manager and will be the
part of Electrification business area for Distribution Solutions division
based in Cairo, Egypt. In this role you will be reporting to Sales & Mak Mgr
& EL Commercial Leader and will be responsible for creating and implementing
promotional activities plan with a long-term promotional strategy for
dedicated target group (consultants, design institutes, engineering/architect
offices, authorities etc.) and aligning the promotional activities plan and
strategy with the sales strategy and sales activities plan

Your responsibilities

• Defining the key targets and ensures that the promotions team supports the sales organization by providing high technical support and technical training or explanation to the target audience on time and on quality with high customer satisfaction


• Ensuring efficient marketing activities and strong value proposition to customers by using effective promotional techniques, creating a vision of a loyal, committed, and long-term customer relationship and implementing the necessary action plan and steps to reach the vision


• Supporting development of strong relationships with key target audience, ensuring that the promotions team has the capability to establish and maintaining effective long-term relationships and ensures a positive experience for the customer target group throughout different promotional activities


• Supporting customers (especially consultants and engineering /architect offices) in project developments and in problem solving from a technical standpoint, defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and establishing regular reports and statistics for promotional activities, reviewing and analyzing performance against standards and preparing improvements plans


• Ensuring (with HR Manager support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed, coaching, motivating and developing direct and indirect subordinates within HR policies, driving and ensuring know-how sharing and cross-collaboration


• Defining and maintaining cross-divisions technology roadmap in the sector, address white spots, buildup and consolidating digital domain knowledge, address standardization and other technical bodies, including digitalization and service


• Working with respective management (e.g., PMD 's and PM's) in identification and prioritization of new business opportunities in line with global strategic priorities, based on good understanding of local situation and global business strategies and supporting realization of prioritized opportunities


• Identifying partnership opportunities and participates in the definition of partnership agreements or joint ventures with key local stakeholders (Consultants, Engineering syndicates, …etc.)

Your background

• Bachelor 's Degree in Electrical engineering


• Minimum ‎10 years' experience in designing, technical manager role, switchgear design and components


• Excellent Presentation, interpersonal skills and Customer-oriented mindset


• Fluent spoken & written English and Arabic language is a must
