Job Scope:
The role of Information Management Assistant Manager is to work closely with
all the finance departments to land the month end closing results. You will
ensure the accuracy of closing activities, results, and global submissions.
You will also participate in meetings and discussions with the global team and
other NAME (North Africa Middle East) business units to apply and adapt to any
requested changes efficiently while ensuring consistency in the ways of
working across NAME and ensure the best practice.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Ensure system readiness for Month end closing (MEC) prior and during the MEC.
* Perform and monitor Month end closing activities as per Global reporting requirements.
* Partner with business to initiate, plan, test & deliver assigned projects.
* Accountable for handling pre MEC technical checks
* Liaise with internal teams, GCOPA & CG Teams to identify, analyze and rectify any technical issues or errors.
* Full ownership of actuals and forecasting monthly.
* Responsible for the timely and accurate submission of monthly global reports as per the global timelines.
* Responding to queries from global teams on the submitted reports (actuals & forecast).
* Reviewing the BUPA report and submit to the Controllers team.
* Liaise with GCOPA & CG teams for the year end restatements, if any.
* Liaise with SAP team for any changes in the reporting structure and user acceptance testing.
* Coordinate for any finance changes due to the changes in reporting structure.
* Align with BGs' (Business Groups) finance managers for any changes and monthly requirements.
* Ensure team building and knowledge transfer.
* Handling the automation agenda to reduce the workload during MEC.
Key Competencies & Skills:
* Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting
* 4-7 Years of Experience in month-controlling or business partnering preferably in FMCG industry.
* Experience of working with key information systems and computer literacy (incl. Excel, Power point, and SAP)
* Excellent communication skills - Impactful and flexible communicating and influencing
* Multitasking and ability to work with different ad hoc issues.
* Strong business acumen
