POSITION SUMMARY:
Primary role is Business partnership for the category teams & Vertical
expertise, to ensure future business growth identification and category
knowledge is built, instilled across the organization.


A DAY IN THE LIFE …
Business partnership for the category teams to drive long-term growth
* Supports Generating Demand teams and corporate functions (General Management, Communication & Media, Nutrition, CSV, Corporate Communication , Finance...) as well as Corporate Communication
* Ensures that marketing decisions (communications, marketing investment, I&R, portfolio management, etc) are based in insights and data
* Recommends and executes the category research plan working with the most effective internal and external partners
* Supports development of MBS (incl. category and cross-category insights), ICP and other long-term strategic projects as required across MENA
* Leads x-category (and Citizen) research
* Continuously enhances CMI toolbox seeking inspiration from the Nestle Global network in addition to external inspiration
* Assess key supplier performances & drives continuous improvement
Equity
* Manages Brand Health Trackers and other brand equity studies; is accountable for the an up to date and accurate understanding of the brand's equity at all times
* Generates cross brand/Category insights related to equity and recommends actions
Market Share
* Understands and reports on Market Share across the category; works with Nielsen and other relevant partners to recommend actions and consistently understand the state of the market share


What will make you successful …
* At least ‎5 + years experience in market research at agencies ( or equivalent FMCG.)
* Experience with trends, Structural thinking, developed analytical skills, ability to work with large amounts of data, analyze relationships and interpret numbers.
* Clear oral and written language, ability to formulate business recommendations.
