At Eni , we are looking for a Lawyer within Ieoc Production BV in
New Cairo, Egypt. You will be responsible for providing accurate legal
interpretation, advice, and guidance on, Contracts/Agreements, Concession
Agreements, applicable Laws (e.g., Petroleum, environment, HSE, investment,
import/export, electricity, and renewables related laws, regulations, and
procedural matters) in relation to the Company 's business and taking into
consideration the business/commercial implications of the advice.

As a member of the legal department at Ieoc Production BV you
will be responsible for :
* Providing legal assistance for drawing up national/international contractual documents connected with the Oil & Gas and renewables business, such as, without limitation, Concession Agreements, JOAs, Gas Sale agreements, Gas/Oil Transportation Agreements Confidentiality Agreements, JVAs, etc...
* Assisting and following up matters related to Company's participation in ventures (including, for instance, the Operating Companies) under the applicable Laws, including, without limitation, drafting of shareholder's agreements, articles of association, by-laws, registering companies, etc.
* Preparing/checking correspondence issued/received by the legal department and, when necessary, preparing/checking from the legal point of view letters to be issued by other departments (e.g., involving partners, authorities etc…),
* Participating in negotiations upon request, ensuring maximum safeguarding of Company's interests and alignment with the Company's goals and objectives.
* Keeping up to date with, providing advice, legal analysis and prepare presentations on, legislations' impacting the Company and its business
* Providing the Company (including, for instance, the Operating Companies) with advice on disputes, litigation, and arbitral matters (including possible settlements).

This is the opportunity for you if you have these skills and requirements
:
* University Degree in Law, International Business,
* Bachelor of Law (English Section).
* LL.M. is a plus
* Solid legal experience, with at least ‎5 years of PQE, in a legal advisory role/in-house lawyer position preferably in an oil and gas company or a law firm advising on oil and gas matters and renewables business (including also, without limitation, providing legal assistance on relevant legal issues such as investment, M&A, customs, import and export, electricity and renewables laws and regulation).
* Registered in the Egyptian Bar Association
* Critical skills are in the relationship and social communications area: negotiation, communication, integration with another department.
* Fluent in English and Arabic languages, with Ability to clearly express verbal and written advice and negotiate in the English language.
* IT literacy: Working knowledge of word, excel and power point programs
