The successful candidate will assist the project management in the ASPIRE
International Virtual Research Institute for Food Security in the Drylands
(ARIFSID). This institute features a comprehensive and highly
interdisciplinary R&D; program and provides an international collaboration
platform for researchers and stakeholders of the public and private food and
agricultural sector.
In cooperation with the ARIFSID Director and UAEU’s Research Office, the
successful candidate is expected to coordinate project activities towards a
timely and resource efficient achievement of project goals and milestones. The
tasks of the Assistant also entail the compilation of progress reports on a
consistent basis, as well as the encouragement of regular progress review and
the development and implementation of workplan adjustments by the institute’s
leading scientists. The working place will be the UAEU Campus in Al Ain,
including the experimental station in Al Foah.
The contract is for one year, with the possibility of extension on an annual
basis.
Minimum Qualification
B. Sc. in business administration, project management, or a related discipline
Preferred Qualification
M. Sc. in business administration, project management, or a related
discipline, with at least two years of relevant working experience.
