As a passionate Project Management professional. You will be assisting a
Senior Project Manager (SPM) / Project Manager (PM), in managing projects for
public and private sector clients. You will also have the opportunity to work
with other disciplines within or outside the group to deliver projects for key
framework.



  • Assist PM / SPM with the day-to-day Client management activities.

  • Assist PM / SPM with the day-to-day programme Management and feed back to the programme in relation to progress.

  • Direct engagement with technical teams to monitor delivery as per contracted deliverables.

  • Monitor / manage finance system adopted in the project delivery along with relevant support from the Project Controls team.

  • Ensure bookings on a weekly basis are aligned to planned resources.

  • Review deliverables against the resource schedule and programme to establish performance against spend and programme, to enable an accurate cost to complete to be maintained. Prepare Earned Value assessment with advice and guidance from PM / SPM.

  • Have a good understanding of the contracted items that impact the design delivery of the project and keep the teams aligned to these requirements.

  • Evaluate changes to Contract and assist in preparation of Variation claims, as required.

  • Assist Procurement team in relation to procurement of Sub-Consultants.

  • Provide inputs to Project Controls (PC) team to update the monthly programme. Programme to include independent Design Reviews and internal audits.

  • Ensure that the Design Team are provided with regular budget updates.

  • Evaluate invoices of the sub-consultants in line with agreed contract.

  • Assist in Audit papers and Jacob's process management

  • Assist with preparation of the Project Management Plan and monitor delivery of our services to these documents

  • Complete supplier performance assessments to feedback good and bad services from suppliers and ensure ethics compliance for business partners

  • Provide input into the Risk Register and review on a weekly basis with SMP/PD.

  • Work shoulder to shoulder with Design Manager and report Risks on a regular basis.

  • Prepare internal work agreements.


Here 's What You'll Need:


About you
You will be degree qualified from a recognized University in an appropriate
field such as, Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management. You will
have ‎5 years professional experience and Internationally recognized Project
Management Certification. Ability to use Primavera to write and manage project
schedules. Master's in project management / Construction Management
* Good written and verbal communication skills required for interaction with the internal and external teams.
* Prepare / collate the Weekly Progress Report / Monthly Progress Report.
* Assist PM/ SPM in weekly design team meeting to monitor progress.
* Prepare / Collate internal and external meeting minutes.
* Manage and maintain Issues log and ensure timely closure of the same.
* Review and maintain, RFI's, RFI responses and close out.
* Manage Sub-Consultant performance
