The Health Safety and Environment Manager will be responsible for monitoring
and maintaining compliance with company and local safety regulations.
Duties & Responsibilities
+ Implements project health safety and environment plan.
+ Monitors policies, procedures, programs, standards, and design criteria
affecting construction safety on a construction project.
+ Determines cause of unsafe condition through procedure review, equipment
and facilities inspection, and worker observation with corrective action
recommendations provided.
+ Assist management with in meeting established safety and risk management
goals and objectives.
+ Reviews and oversees procedures for investigating construction accidents.
+ Collects and analyzes injury and safety survey statistical data to write
technical reports and makes presentations to contractors and regional
management regarding contractor performance.
+ Area of work may require movement off site periodically.
+ Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be
appropriate.
Minimum Requirements
+ 10 + years experience managing HSE & Risk programs on large scale projects.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Bachelors degree in a relevant field
