Commercial Leader High Growth Markets (HGM) - Fluid Technology Asset
Protection (FTAP) leads and directs the regional sales organization to meet or
exceed sales revenue, sales profitability and budgetary objectives and to
achieve sustainable, profitable year-over-year growth within the HGM as
defined. The role involves strategic planning, managing people, selling and
improving processes. This position collaborates across the organization to get
results through influence. The position contributes to the development of the
functional and operational long-term strategy and develops annual business
plans to ensure alignment. This role Acts as the ultimate local Company (GM)
authority to manage the affairs of the company within the HGM as defined by
FTAP, which includes but is not limited to representing the company and act on
their behalf before judicial, administrative, labor, municipal, police or
legal authorities and ensuring that all business practices are compliant with
DHR standard business and code of conduct.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Provide overall leadership for regional sales and business development
activities by planning and recommending sales strategies to achieve maximum
penetration consistent with Pall ’s financial, tactical and strategic growth
targets
Work with R &D;, Engineering and Operations as well as global and regional
Marketing to plan and implement the sale and marketing of new and existing
products
Create an environment where innovation thrives, and new ideas can be shaped
into business opportunities
General Manager authority to manage the affairs of the company within the HGM
as defined by FTAP, which includes but is not limited to representing the
company and act on their behalf before judicial, administrative, labour,
municipal, police or legal authorities and ensuring that all business
practices are compliant with DHR standard business and code of conduct.
Manage and analyze the market intelligence data to ensure market opportunities
are capitalized on as they occur and minimize the effects of competitive
activity in close cooperation with Marketing
Lead the regional FTAP Initiatives and drive Pall products being specified in
customers’ First Fit requirements.
Through critical insight on customer processes, support team to formulate
strategies to develop and support solutions that meet or exceed customers’
needs and expectations and simultaneously expand FTAP’s business by gaining
market share in existing and new accounts as well as new Markets such as Green
Energy
Work with Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain and other teams in Pall
to ensure full execution of our sales strategies in the region (including
orders, shipments, AR collections, contracts including renewals).
Lead sales funnel reviews and ensure reporting of all business opportunities,
solution concepts and strategies to Pall management through the use of CRM as
well as Growth Rooms and provide voice of customer and applications feedback
to product development teams.
Communicate business strategy and tactics clearly to your team and provide
feedback to colleagues, the management team and other Pall teams on progress,
opportunities and challenges in the region.
Use VOC to inform continuous improvement initiatives and instill discipline
with respect to sales funnel management and other Standard Work and DBS tools.
Responsible for talent management to ensure the continued development for
direct reports. Partner closely with the human resources organization in
developing organizational capabilities through succession planning,
organizational assessment, identification of key skill gaps, talent
acquisition, talent development and diversity strategies that link with
business goals.
Create trusted relationships with your team members; Understand what they
value and support them in achieving their development goals. Coach the team to
enhance their network and identify challenging / stretch roles or projects to
support career progression.
Understand the performance and development planning process. Partner with your
team to create objectives, measure performance progress against objectives and
close gaps with appropriate action plans.
Up to 50% travel.

The essential requirements of the job include:
Undergraduate degree in business, engineering, marketing or related area. MBA
is highly preferred
Extensive experience (15+ years) with demanding work characterized by high
rates of change, growth and accomplishment
International experience is expected
Basic knowledge in Contract Review
Strong analytical mind, able to take a long-term view of the market
Effective network within the FTAP industry, displaying the ability to work the
network expediently and independently
Demonstrated ability to work across an organization and to partner.
Willing to challenge the status quo and think creatively.
Ability to lead teams, as well as, collaborate with stakeholders across the
