Purpose of the Job
The purpose of this role is to implement complex and standard engineering
solutions, typically undertaking one aspect of a large project (i.e., MMI,
Control or Safety applications, IT, Hardware design), to successful completion
within budgeted time and cost constraints achieving required quality. Support
the SAT and commissioning work at different customer locations. Interface
directly with customers on specific design details of non-standard solutions.
To support the implementation of projects in line with P&AS objectives
including continuous improvement of margin, customer satisfaction, schedule,
working capital and safety performance.
Principal Responsibilities:
* Ensures that required prerequisites (e.g., design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule, budget) are in place prior to commencing work.
* Produce Control applications and/or HMI applications or others.
* Produce part(s) of functional design specifications under supervision & detailed design specifications.
* Support site activities as per the need of the Business
* Executes work assignment to appropriate standards and quality systems (Implementation, Test & Documentation)
* Monitors and controls assigned work scope against the project plan.
* Proactively recommends potential quality and efficiency improvements within the engineering group.
* Shares technical knowledge with project team, supervisor, own discipline and other engineering disciplines.
* Reports progress and technical problems and/or changes to project lead engineer or principal engineer.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred. Appropriate technical qualification for role.
* Project experience as Engineer in at least one discipline or equivalent.
* ‎1-‎3 years of applicable project experience.
* Familiar in Experion or EBI System or any DCS / PLC platform.
* Knowledge in networking & able to read electrical diagram.
* Working Knowledge of MS Office & driving license.
