Role Summary
Warehouse Support will oversee the day-to-day operations of a warehouse
facility such as receiving, picking, labelling, and storing incoming
shipments. This position plays a crucial part in maintaining the efficiency
and productivity of the warehouse and responsibilities typically include,
Inventory management, record keeping and team collaboration.
What's On Your Plate?
* Check the received items for any damage or discrepancies, verify their quantity and quality against Delivery notes and report them to the relevant authorities.
* Ensure proper documentation and labelling of received inventories and store them in the designated area in a manner that allows easy retrieval.
* Anticipate inventory demands and prepare them for distribution to avoid delays in the operation.
* Ensure that all inventory-related transactions are promptly and accurately recorded in the inventory management system. Double-check the data entered to minimize errors and discrepancies.
* Provide timely and accurate responses to rider queries regarding inventory availability and distribution. Effectively manage any crowd or gathering that may occur during inventory distribution to maintain a smooth operation.
* Conduct regular inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy is maintained. Investigate and resolve any discrepancies found during the counting process.
* Keep the main inventory file (G sheets) up to date with accurate information on stock levels and transactions.
* Address FP queries promptly and professionally, ensuring all necessary information is provided.
* Schedule appointments for riders to address their concerns in person when needed.
* Keep a separate inventory for reusable items and track their availability.
* Ensure that reusable items are distributed to riders as required while maintaining sufficient stock levels.
* Handle scrap items in an organized manner, separate from usable inventory.
* Maintain detailed records of scrap items and coordinate their proper disposal or recycling according to company policies.
What Did We Order?
* Diploma with proven 2-3 years work experience as a Warehouse support/Associate in eCommerce industry
* Ability to input, retrieve and analyse data.
* Experienced at multitasking, worked in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. English and Urdu/Hindi is a must. Arabic is a plus.
