Job Description:
Project Manager - Airport ICT
Sharjah , UAE
What You'll Be Doing:
* Develop and implement the ICT strategy that aligns with the airport's overall operational and business objectives.
* Develop migration plans from existing facilities to new facilities (migration plans).
* Manages the planning, development, procurement, implementation, commissioning and ORAT stages of the ICT project in coordination with Airport Main packages.
* Oversee the deployment of innovative technologies to improve airport operations, such as passenger flow management systems or baggage tracking systems.
* Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure that services are delivered on time and within budget.
* Provide leadership to a team of IT professionals responsible for supporting airport operations.
* Ensure compliance of the implemented ICT systems with international regulations and standards.
* Develop policies and procedures related to ICT systems, disaster recovery planning, data privacy protection, etc.
* Monitor performance metrics related to ICT systems uptime, response times, customer satisfaction levels etc.
* Prepare reports on ICT-related activities for senior management or other stakeholders as required.
* Works with the key project staff, consultants, contractors and subcontractors to devise and execute action plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work.
* Responsible for all Airport systems (DAS, 5G/LTE, FO, Data Centers, Airport Systems, Security Systems, CCTV/ACS/CUPPS/CUSS/ RMS/IB/FIDS/SCN/DC/DAS etc.)
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
* Bachelor's degree in IT or engineering from an accredited university
* Minimum 15 years' experience in Airport ICT systems implementation
* Prior experience in design and implement Special Airport Systems is essential
* Experience of working internationally (preference for Middle East)
* Knowledge required in: Structural cabling, Airport Systems (CUPPs, CUSS, FIDS, IB, AODB, RMS), Security Systems (CCTV, ACS), Data Center systems
* Good written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project personnel and management.
