Position Objectives:
The Project Control Lead is overall responsible for all Project Control, Risk
Tracking, Mitigation, Communication, and PMO activities in the Program of the
Telecom Service Organization
Job Description & Responsibilities:
Design PIP (Project Implementation Plan)and HPIP (High-Level Project
Implementation Plan) and follow up project scheduling and reporting
activities.
Initiate and chair regular meetings with all involved parties to coordinate
practical project control Issues to ensure the timely and orderly execution of
the work.
Monitor project progress and work performed concerning agreed work plans,
schedules and vendor contracts.
Establish Risk Management processes to proactively manage project risks,
identify the potential impact, and execute appropriate risk avoidance and
mitigation plans.
Prepare a Project Communication Plan and establish a communication channel.
Establish a clear process to control Scope Assignments and Change management
requests.
Establish processes to manage vendors' contracts, manage change orders, and
follow up on contractual obligations.
Establish processes to manage and control the flow of documents in the
project.
Establish routines to collect, validate, and analyse project data, and ensure
suitable project databases are implemented to store and manage this data.
Establish routines and guidelines for preparing project reports, with a
special focus on up-to-date project status, project delays, blocking issues,
and corrective actions;
Ensure that results are timely and correctly presented and explained to the
Client in the required format, quantity and quality. (PPT, Power BI
dashboards)
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor of Engineering.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in a Project
Control role.
Good presentation and reporting skills backed by proficiency in Power Bi,
Advanced Excel PowerPoint, and Word.
Must have hands on with PIP and HPIP Plan exp, Track baselines, Forcast, Risk
Management, and Change Management.
Strong experience in Control activities, Budget Management, and Reporting
templates.
Experience in establishing processes to manage and control the flow of
documents in the project.
Essential skills: Teamwork, Communication skills and knowledge transfer
capability.
Excellent knowledge of the English and Arabic languages, both written and
spoken.
Native Arabic speakers or Saudi nationals based in Saudi Arabia will be
preferred.
